Arbor Compass does not fold a city premium into these amounts. Storm and emergency quotes price urgency differently - record any surcharge exactly as the quote states it.

Which rows should appear in a complete tree removal quote?
Look for the base removal price with the number of trees it covers, stump grinding if you want the stump gone, crane or bucket-truck access for tall or tight jobs, debris hauling or chipping, any emergency or after-storm surcharge, a municipal permit fee, and travel or mileage for out-of-area work. Any of these may be included, unnecessary or separately billed.
Where do the calculator amounts come from?
Only from you. Arbor Compass supplies no default tree work amounts. Copy each figure from a current written quote and use the same billing unit in both quote columns.
Does this calculator adjust the price for my city?
No. Arbor Compass does not apply a geographic multiplier inside these amounts. The tree removal cost index lists published nationwide ranges from named guides and, separately, a BLS labor-wage signal by metro - read it there before comparing local written quotes here.
What is the tree height or size tier row for?
It is a context row, not a price. Record the height or size class each quote is priced for so both quotes describe the same tree. If one quote is for a 40 ft tree and the other for a 70 ft tree, the totals are not comparable. That row never changes the total.
Should I add every possible line?
No. Enter stump grinding, crane, debris, emergency, permit or travel fees only when they appear in the written quote. The company defines the job scope in writing; the worksheet only compares what is written.
