## What this directory publishes

Arbor Compass does not publish pricing data, market averages, demand estimates or outcome statistics. Listings describe individual tree service companies: location, services offered, direct contact details, opening hours, and Google rating and review count. Directory categories reflect business-submitted or public business information, not an assessment of workmanship or safety.

## How to compare tree services

1. Confirm the service you need: tree removal, trimming and pruning, stump grinding, emergency and storm damage work, an arborist consultation, land and lot clearing, or palm tree trimming.
2. Ask each company for a written scope: which trees, what work, debris and stump handling, and site protection.
3. Ask for proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation, and verify any licensing with the relevant state or local authority.
4. For health or risk assessments, ask whether a certified arborist (e.g. ISA credential) performs the evaluation, and verify the credential with the issuing organization.
5. Get terms in writing: schedule, cleanup, and cancellation policy.
